In regards to DCist's contention that Saint-Ex once had a "brief hipster affiliation" since destroyed by marauding Bush twins and Virginians. To some extent, they've always been there and to some extent, the hipsters still show up now and then, at least for certain events.

a. Yeah, I was actually there a few times right after it opened, and it really was pretty much 100% hipster - all the usual suspects. There was a v. brief period in which there were not always some intern types around.

b. Check out the comments on that DCist post. Hot damn! I wish I had that kind of time and energy.

c. They have this amazing goat cheese - cheesecake thing and this awesome lavender creme brulee. Just sayin'.
