
This apple is very similar in texture to the Michigan Honeycrisp, but is a little drippier and perhaps better for home consumption than, for example, eating over your keyboard in the library. The taste was super-sweet, but not the wholesome honey-sweet of the aptly-named Honeycrisp, but more refined-tasting, like the white stuff you put in your coffee. Still, it's one massive, sweet, juicy apple, which makes for a nice pick-me-up.

I've been having real luck with Jonagolds down here in Texas. Not that any apple found in TX should be held aloft.
You know, I didn't much like the apples I got in DC, either.
