To be more specific, the Idaho Statesman gets letters:
"Check the pyramidWas Jesus a clone of God? Well, that would explain almost everything that happened. To those of you who say that technology simply wasn't there, check out the great pyramid. We still don't know how that happened.
Robert Bungard, Boise"
As a fomer resident (albeit brief) of southern Idaho, may I simply state that that letter is nothing compared to the realllllly rural community papers. I mean, the Statesman is the big league. Publications like, say, the Arco Advertiser, receive some truly unbelievable letters some weeks. Unfortunately, I don't think they archive them well online, so you have to just cross your fingers and hope for the crazies to come out guns blazing. Every few months or so, you get lucky.
