Appleblogging: Braeburn/Gala

Sorry for the interruption in the appleblogging schedule - I've been eatintg them faster than I can download the pictures from my camera. In light of this time crunch and of the pile of new apples in my fridge, I'll double up today. The Braeburn and Gala varieties are more similar than they are different - very crisp and refreshing, lightly sweet and not at all tart, with a low drippiness factor. Either is a solid choice for your apple needs.
