Appleblogging: Red Delicious

reddelicious.JPG

These are probably the most common kind of apple you'll find in offerings of free fruit in cafeterias, corporate events and other situations where the party that is paying is different from the party that is consuming.

Point being, this apple sucks. It tastes like paper, leaves you thirsty and is neither sweet nor tart. Granny Smith may be boring, but Red Delicious is just plain bad fruit.

UPDATE: I'm apparently not the only person who thinks so.

Ain't it the truth? Red Delicious apples don't deserve space on the planet.
