Since I last wrote to you, dear readers, I've been to every single watering hole I used to frequent when I lived in DC.
Saint-Ex, Black Cat. DC9, Brickskeller, Diner, Pharmacy, Wonderland, all check. And boy are my arms tired!
However, boozing across pretentious hipster DC from end to end has its downside. For no good reason, I was very abrasive to Matt Yglesias when I ran into him at DC9 having a drink with with Charles and Team Zunta. I'm sorry. I've never met you before, I like your work, I first subscribed to The American Prospect when I was 15 and I apparently went to Hebrew School with one of your friends from high school. I don't know what came over me.
