After a blissed-out weekend of birthday partying, rib-devouring and a spot of bowling with my visiting DC crew, I came to school this morning fairly unprepared for the week to come. In two days, I need to think of a journal topic, get a professor to sponsor it (I have a meeting set up, but without a signed form, I'm nervous), prepare cross and direct examinations of witnesses for class, prepare for a callback in another city on Friday and somehow remember to pay the cable bill.
It may be a few days late, but now it has occured to me that yes, the semester has begun.
You can have your cable bill paid automatically online.
It's called the internet.
Once you set it up you never have to worry about it again.
(Unless you have a tendency to overdraw on your account. If that is the case, then you're stuck with paying your bill late.)
Don't pay the cable bill. I had an epiphany this morning when there was no more coffee in the freezer: My 06-07 New TV Season Resolution is: Screw it. No more TV. I watched the re-runs w/ all the season-finale cliff-hangers & just got mad again. Think of how annoyed your friends will be that you can't about their shows any more. Also, more time to blog.
