Cruising around Wikipedia, I found the Philippine Basketball Association. As in Japanese baseball, the teams are sponsored by corporations and are named accordingly. This produces some team names that are very funny to the unfamiliar ear: The Talk 'N Text Phone Pals, Sta. Lucia Realtors and of course, The Purefoods Tender Juicy Giants.
