Unconnected thoughts, none of which is long enough to make its own post, but when strung together allow me to say I've posted today:
- Propensity to vote is genetic? When I was little, my dad took me to vote and even let me pull the lever for Dukakis. We share some genes, but I think being taught that it was important (even though we got rolled on Gov. D) played a bigger role.
- How long do you think it will take before the cool kids start migrating back to Friendster as some sort of retro fashion statement? I give it a year and a half.
- I'd rather it be 20 and snowing than 37 and raining. I doubt many people around here will disagree.
- Maybe Devin Hester isn't all he's cracked up to be. He can be neutralized on the kickoff/punt return (kick out of bounds or away from him) and his performance outside special teams is middling at best since he's rarely on the field. So why do the announcers make such a big deal when he appears on the field during an offensive drive?
- It was pretty awesome to see Rudy squirm on Meet The Press on Sunday. However, my desire to see Giuliani's spectacular collapse is mitigated by the fact that I made a bet that Huckabee won't get the nomination. Go Mitt!
The Apples in Stereo's New Magnetic Wonder is a really good album, despite the filler tracks of noodling "experimental" BS.
- I've never prepared less for law school finals than I have this year. Wish me luck!
